1. Walk in the park.
To attain better mental health, try to go every day for a half-hour walk in the park near your house. You will find that taking that time to be outside by yourself allows you to quiet your mind, organize your thoughts and find ways to approach different situations more objectively. You’ll be able to visualize the bigger picture associated with the big decisions you need to make professionally and personally, and ultimately, you are better able to determine the correct course of action.”
2. Think like a customer.
We need to try to approach our daily brainstorming sessions from the perspectives of our customers. Encourage your team to join you in meetings with a list of recent customer reviews and feedback to help you keep your customers top of mind as you develop new collections and work to regularly develop the shopping experience. This helps your entire team stay laser-focused and removes your egos from the mix.
3. Let music influence your mood.
When you are in the taxi to and from work every-day, you blare your music and make sure to sing along with whoever listening to you. It’s the best way to set-up for the day or winds down after a particularly long one. The only downside is that it gets a bit awkward at a red light when you catch the next person staring at you while you’re enjoying your music.
4. Create a sense of calm.
Every day, creating a sense of calm helps you to prioritize, reflect and set goals. Whether this means waking up early for exercise, gym class and meditation every morning, you’ll found that even ten minutes can make a big difference. This habit has allowed you to be more creative, thoughtful, engaged and you’ll make better decisions in work as well as personal life.
5. Give yourself time to relax.
At the end of every day take an hour to calm down and relax. You will not only get to relive the stress of the whole day, but you’ll give yourself the time to absorb everything you learned during the whole day and evaluate your next steps. It’s important to take a break from the work and let yourself breathe or clam. If your health is perfect then only your business can be in good shape too.
6. Get ready yourself for the future.
By allowing yourself to focus on the responsibility and goal, increases productivity. An efficient way to do this is by dividing your time into parts: telling yourself what to do, and doing what you tell yourself to do. Use a to-do list on the wall, calendar, and email to tell future you what to work on. Before the day end, make sure it’s modernized or updated so that when you get to your work in the morning you know exactly what you need to do.
7. Get inspired by reading something inspiring.
It’s convenient sometimes to get trapped in routine work or life patterns which can affect your overall performance and mood. When it happens, read something inspiring. If you feel uninspired, try to reset your attitude by watching a video or reading a book that you found interesting to give you a boost or a break from your normal daily routine cycle.
8. Never give up.
There are so many persons whose favorite is ‘Never give up!’ It sounds frivolous, but there are so many times that if we accepted No. It’s a fragile dance of polite aggression, fortitude and compartmentalized fear. Sometimes we just have to hit our fear from a different angle. Different tools, a little muscle and different angles. Rarely we get the answer we want out of the gate and often through the process we find we need to adjust our perspective, but the goal is always the same at the end.
9. Surround yourself with positive people.
For the haters and trolls social media has become a cesspool. Don’t let negative or opposing people hold us back. Understand that from unhappy people negativity generally comes and those who jealous of you. The successful or victorious persons don’t tear others down. Surround yourself with the persons who are positive, confident and ambitious. It’s very simple to focus on the negative and there’s just no upside to that.
10. Write down your gratitude.
First thing when we wake up, we need to write down three things, we have to be grateful for the minimum three things that would make our day great, and one daily affirmation. Right before we go to sleep, write down three amazing things that happened in the whole day and answer some questions to yourself, How could I have made my today great and healthy? The daily practice of writing down what we have to be grateful for and reflecting upon who we want to become, helps us rewire my brain and improve my happiness.
