Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Thiruvananthapuram

Padmanabhaswamy Temple is the world’s famous and richest  temple. Trivandrum is the capital of Kerala, known for its vote rides. This temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, and built-in Dravidian style architecture which is prevalent in South India.

Recently a wall inside the temple was opened in which floods like gold, silver, and diamond were flooded. Some people estimate the property here and tell that there is a property worth 1 trillion dollars here. It is believed that there is hardly any temple that will have this much wealth and any temple can counter it.

Venkateswara Temple, Tirupati

About 100 people visit the Venkateswara Temple in Tirupati every day and the number rises to 500 when a festival comes. Seeing such a large number of devotees, we can easily say that charity work is done here every day.

Let we tell you that this temple is also called the Tirumala temple. According to the latest estimates, the Tirumala temple has gold reserves and 52 tonnes of gold ornaments (including ancient gold ornaments and deities payable by kings and British rulers over 1000 years) worth Rs 37,000 crore. They convert 3000 kg of gold received from pilgrims as a gold reserve to the donation box every year deposits with Nationalized banks.

Sai Baba’s Temple, Shirdi

Sai Baba who was a monk lived here in the 18th century. It is the third richest temple and people of every faith trust Sai Baba.

Thousands of devotees visit the Sai temple of Shirdi, and many of them donate. It is believed that his throne is made of 94 kilograms of gold and here 100 million was donated by mere people.

Vaishnodevi Temple, Jammu Kashmir

Located near Katra in Jammu district, is the second most visited religious place after the Tirupati temple.

Inside a cave on the Triuttu Bhagwati hill it is at an altitude of 5,200 feet. As the number of pilgrims increased, the revenue of the temple has also increased. The temple has an annual income of about 500 crores.

Siddhi Vinayak, Mumbai

Siddhi Vinayak Temple is the Mumbai’s most famous and rich temple of Ganapati Bappa. Tim Cook CEO of Apple Company also visited this temple before some time.

Worldwide devotees visit this temple, but this temple is especially known by Bollywood celebrities.

With 3.7 kg gold, Ganesh Ji’s dome is coated. This temple is having a fixed deposit of 125 crores and 100 crores of annual income, which make it one of the richest temple in India.

Meenakshi Temple, Madurai

Despite being surrounded by many temples nearby, thousands of people visit this temple every day.

In the 14th century this temple was destroyed and robbed by the Mughal ruler Malik Kafar, yet this temple stands today with grace.

During the Meenakshi Tirukalyanam festival, millions of people visit this temple. This festival is celebrated between April Month and May Month. This temple earns 6 crores every year.

Jagannath Temple, Puri

The temple dedicated to Lord Jagannath of Puri, also known as Daridra Narayana [God of the Poor], has a net worth of Rs 250 crores per annum, 50 crores.

Since the 12th century, 18 times this temple has been attacked. Since then only 2 out of 7 chambers are open for worship and darshan. Otherwise, there is no estimate of how many kilos of gold has in this temple.

Kashi Vishwanath Temple,

Varanasi Vishwanathan, who is the main deity of the temple, is the ruler of the universe. The annual donation here is more than 6 crores.

2 gold plates are used to make domes here and famous as one of the richest temples. This temple is very famous and rich for it’s unique art.

 

Amarnath Cave, Anantnag

Every year more than 2 lakh devotees make a tremendous trip to the Amarnath cave in the South Kashmir Himalayas to pay homage to Lord Shiva in the snow.

The pilgrimage proves that it is a belief of devotees in the powers of God that attracts people here from July to August and also has a lot of offerings in this temple.

Sabarimala Temple, Periyar Tiger Reserve

The Sabarimala temple, located in the Periyar Tiger Reserve in Kerala, invites millions of pilgrims to visit it throughout the year.

People also offer crores to their favorite God as it is very famous. Let us tell you that in the year 2013, the amount of donation here was 203 crores.

Here Arvina Prasad alone earns 74.50 crores from the sale. It attracts more than 100 million devotees every year. This temple is situated amidst beautiful hills.
