People of Konak Naga caste live in this village. The headman of Longwa village is called Anga. The king of this village rules over 70 villages in Myanmar and Arunachal and has 60 wives.
People here can visit Myanmar without visa. The people of Longwa village have created their new language by mixing both Tibetan and Myanmar languages.
The interesting thing about Longwa village is that most of the families in the village have their kitchens in Myanmar while they sleep in India. The popular festival of this village is Oiling Monyu which is celebrated in the first week of April.

The people of Longwa village wear special types of jewelry such as ink on the mouth of men and copper garlands around their necks.
