Castro eventually ousted Batista six years later.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1956<\/strong> &#8211; Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser nationalized the Suez Canal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1971<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0<i>Apollo 15<\/i>\u00a0was launched from Cape Kennedy,\u00a0FL.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1998<\/strong> &#8211; AT&amp;T and British Telecommunications PLC announced they were forming a joint venture to combine international operations and develop a new Internet system.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1999<\/strong> &#8211; 1,500 pieces of Marilyn Monroe&#8217;s personal items went on display at Christie&#8217;s in New York,\u00a0NY. The items went on sale later in 1999.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2016<\/strong> \u2013 The Sagamihara stabbings occur in Kanagawa Prefecture in Japan.
