She died with six others when the\u00a0<i>Challenger<\/i>\u00a0exploded the following year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1989 \u2013<\/strong> United Airlines Flight 232 crashes in Sioux City, Iowa killing 111.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1992 \u2013<\/strong> A car bomb kills Judge Paolo Borsellino and five members of his escort.<\/p>\n<p><strong>1997 \u2013<\/strong> The Troubles: The Provisional Irish Republican Army resumes a ceasefire to end their 25-year paramilitary campaign to end British rule in Northern Ireland.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2014 \u2013<\/strong> Gunmen in Egypt&#8217;s western desert province of New Valley Governorate attack a military checkpoint, killing at least 21 soldiers.
